About Studio Owner & Teacher Kate

Over the past decade, I’ve walked the path of transformation myself. From navigating grief to becoming a mother of 2, and through the invisible weight of my own internal battles, yoga found me, and stayed with me. It gave me a place to land when nothing else made sense.

Since 2017, I’ve been guiding others through this practice, not just as a teacher, but as someone who’s lived the shift from overwhelmed to anchored, from scattered to centred. Yoga became more than a practice, it became a way of being. It softened my inner world, steadied my mind and helped me rebuild from the inside out.

Now, I share this education with others:
Classes, retreats and sacred spaces that welcome you exactly as you are, and gently lead you home to yourself.

Whether you’re brand new to the mat or returning after life’s challenges/storms, my deepest intention is to ignite the same spark in you that was once lit in me, and remind you that healing doesn’t have to be loud or fast, it just has to be real and in your own divine timing. I know that Yoga is a path back to wellness and it’s a gift that keeps on giving.

I have studied and hold certifications in:

350hr Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 (The Four Integral Paths of Yoga. The Eight Limbs of Raja Yoga (Yamas & Niyamas, Asana. Pranayama. Meditation, Path to Samadhi) Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Children’s Yoga, Elderly Yoga, Chair yoga. Chakras. Metaphysics. Ayurveda. Mantra. Chanting. Currently completing a further 100hrs in Yin Yoga

With a 25 year background in vocal training and singing, I also integrate sound and voice as a form of sound healing into my yoga sessions, offering mantras and intuitive vocal expression as a gentle form of sound therapy, along with the use of singing bowls, and other instruments.

So where does “Saha” come into this?

I’ve also learnt over the years that having a supportive community can really help you on your journey, so that’s where Saha comes in. "Saha" meaning “together” in Sanskrit, implies a sense of community, unity, and connection. Which is what the definition of Yoga really is - Union.

Together, we'll explore the transformative power of yoga, supporting and inspiring each other along the way,

Kate
